Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to handle cash transactions, maintain daily cash records, and assist with basic accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, good with numbers, and capable of handling financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions efficiently and accurately.

Issue receipts, refunds, and invoices to customers or internal departments.

Maintain a daily cash book and balance cash at the end of each day.

Deposit cash or coordinate with the accounts team for deposits and withdrawals.

Ensure proper billing and tax compliance on invoices (if applicable).

Maintain petty cash and track daily expenses.

Keep the cash counter and area clean, organized, and secure.

Report any cash discrepancies immediately to the finance/accounting head.

Support basic data entry and record-keeping as required.
